So...from the top of my head.

Vendors could sell health and power packs (though maybe at a high price 500-1000 to keep the difficulty at roughly the same level)
You could add a "damaged Herbert" effect when health is low.
Also, make Laxanas the end game boss.




bug(s)
The droid-like thing that rotates around you shooting enemies doesn't work. At least in Metal Venture 0.9b
Make a Linux version!

Well, in 0.9 i had this... problem...

Reaching lvl7 you have the objective to get to the elevator through a force field gate. Of course you must deactivate it first, using the terminal far east of the level.

The problem is that if you haven't visited the room with the forcefield gate BEFORE you actually deactivate it from the terminal, then you can't take down the force field.

On the other hand, if you first visit the room, and then deactivate, then it works.

I just thought a couple more!

Suggestions: if you don't want to lower the price of "it's over nine thousaaaaaaaaaaaaand!" weapon at least have 1 or 2 more vendors in the area cause in level 9, I couldn't sell many items to get the cash for the weapon because the vendor had full slots!

As I said in another forum finishing the game could unlock another difficulty level or even god mode. (or after you finish it you can start from the beginning with every weapon in you inv, including "it's over 9000)

You could also add some of the test levels you made before the final version as bonus levels...


Mosquitoes and other bugs:
At the final boss there is a gap between you and the boss, in v 0.9b I could walk across the gap, something that made the fight way easier.

PS:Herbert? I mean Herbert? Sounds like someone's grandfather... tongue

Well, about the "gimme all weapons after endgame" thing, you can do it manually using the editor.geek

You just load the game levels and then you "Edit World Info"... Then you edit the values in starting weapon slots, placing a value from 0 to 20+?(not sure about the range) and then, should you run the level, you will start with the weapons you chose to start with.
I can simply tell you that somewhere out there in the game world there is a weapon called "Ventouza". albino

Dunno, maybe I'll try that but it still feels like cheating. (tell me the truth, wasn't your first thought to use /quote to quote me? What a Face )

Another one: Full energy/health/power with every level up----> makes the game a liiiiiiiiiiiiiiittle (just a little) easier.

In addition to the above, it also occured to me that there could be a gun called "Tromponi", which could be of great use as a special heavy sound-wave weapon cyclops

In 1.00 the drones work OK (though a little weak), plus I didn't have the drone in my 0.9b save so never mind...
